Jodie Granger-Brown
Jodie moved to Wells-next-the-Sea in 2020, from Ely in Cambridgeshire to turn a long-held idea into reality after spending a few years working between luxury ski chalets and superyachts. She went on to launch The Happy Huts, a beach hut rental business in Wells, and is also the founder of Happy Helpers.

With a background in property management, Jodie spotted a clear gap in the market for reliable, local support for property owners. Happy Helpers was created to provide exactly that, while also giving retired members of the local community the opportunity to use their skills in a flexible, meaningful way.

Outside of work, Jodie enjoys hiking, surfing, and always has some sort of DIY project on the go in her campervan or home!

Harry Taylor
Harry by trade is a chef and currently Head Chef at The Globe, as well as Jodie’s partner. He moved to Wells in 2025 after several years split between winter seasons in the Alps and summers touring UK festivals as a pizza trader.

Along the way, Harry picked up a wide range of practical, hands-on skills. These days, whether he planned it or not, he’s putting them to good use by lending a helping hand.

When he’s not in the kitchen, Harry is usually on the slopes, an accomplished skier and snowboarder or, in summer you might catch him cruising along the Quay on his electric skateboard.

Mia Bewley
Mia is Bristol-born and a Maths graduate. She moved to Wells in April 2025 with her partner, Peter.. making it very much a family affair.

Mia works in procurement at the Kinnerton chocolate factory in Fakenham and brings with her a strong background in hospitality, including roles in chalet hosting and housekeeping. This mix of analytical thinking and hands-on experience makes her highly organised and detail-focused.
Outside of work, Mia loves the outdoors and can usually be found hiking, cycling, skiing, snowboarding and enjoying the occasional sauna.

Peter Granger-Brown
Peter is restaurant Manager at Flour, our favourite local pizza restaurant. He moved to the area with his partner, Mia, in April 2025 after several years living the seasonnaire lifestyle.

During that time, Peter spent winters working as a chalet host and resort manager in the Three Valleys, and summers as front of house manager at YHA Treyarnon Bay. These fast-paced, hands-on roles helped build his practical skillset and calm, problem-solving approach.

Outside of work, Peter enjoys long coastal walks with his cockapoo, Buddy, renovating his home, and spending time in the kitchen cooking up a storm.

Andy Mulligan
Andy runs Mulligans Property and Garden Services, providing a wide range of services including kitchens, bathrooms, carpentry, and fencing. Known for his practical, can-do approach, Andy is happy to turn his hand to just about anything.

After a long career as a kitchen fitter, Andy became self-employed last year, bringing years of experience along with a rare added skillset, he’s also qualified in accounting, giving him a detail-driven and highly organised approach to his work.

Outside of work, Andy is a triathlon coach training year-round for triathlon and running events.
